A shocking incident occurred in the Hadayek October district of Giza, where a mechanic allegedly assaulted a child working as a cardboard collector inside an under-construction house in the Ebny Beitak area.
The case began when the emergency police received a report from a boy claiming that a man had assaulted him inside an unfinished property.
Immediately, security forces moved to the scene, identified the suspect, and successfully arrested him. During the initial interrogation, the mechanic confessed to committing the act, describing how it took place in an isolated area with no witnesses present.
A report of the incident was filed, and the suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal procedures, while the victim was provided with appropriate psychological and social support.
