A tragic incident occurred in El-Khosous, Qalyubia Governorate, after a young man stabbed a woman with a knife, resulting in her death, following her refusal to accept his marriage proposal.
Security forces immediately arrived at the scene and conducted a photographic inspection of the site. The victim’s body was transferred to the hospital under the supervision of the investigating authorities.
The suspect was apprehended, and a police report was filed. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the incident and to take the necessary legal actions.
The Public Prosecution ordered the suspect to be detained for 4 days pending investigations, with legal renewal dates observed.
