Social media users in Cairo were alarmed by a video showing a truck driver speeding on a highway after removing the vehicle’s rear license plate, putting both himself and other motorists at serious risk.

Authorities quickly identified and apprehended the vehicle. The driver, residing in Helwan, Cairo, did not have a valid driving license and admitted to the actions as seen in the footage.

The truck was impounded and legal procedures were initiated against the driver. Officials stressed that such reckless behavior endangers public safety and highlighted the importance of adhering to traffic laws.
