Sharqia Governorate saw a wave of public attention after violent videos circulated online showing a husband attacking his wife and a group clash between neighbors over ongoing disputes.

In the first incident, police in Kafr Saqr received a report from a woman suffering multiple bruises who accused her husband of assaulting her during a domestic dispute. Authorities arrested the suspect, who confessed to the assault, and legal measures were taken before referring him to the Public Prosecution.

In the second case, a hospital reported receiving a worker and two women with fractures and injuries following a violent neighborhood fight involving five people over disputes related to children playing.

Victims stated that the attackers used sticks, an axe, and a metal crowbar. Police managed to arrest the suspects and seized the tools used in the attack. The suspects admitted their involvement, and all legal actions were completed.

The Public Prosecution has launched investigations into both incidents to determine full accountability.
