According to informed sources, Zamalek has officially requested a reduction in the value of the new contract, along with flexible payment terms that align with the club’s current financial situation. The aim is to reach a fair agreement that accommodates both parties.

The sources also indicated that a specialized field valuation committee affiliated with the Ministry of Endowments recently inspected the club’s land in Mit Oqba to determine its fair market value. The assessment has been completed and its results have been sent to the club for review.

In a separate context, rumors circulated regarding South African coach Pitso Mosimane potentially taking over as head coach of Algerian side CR Belouizdad, a team competing against Zamalek in the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals.
