Zamalek Sets a Cap on Abdallah El-Said’s Contract

The board of Zamalek Club, headed by Hussein Labib, determined the value of Abdallah El-Said’s contract after meetings with Amr El-Ganainy, a member of the planning committee.

A 40 Million EGP Contract for Two Seasons
The board refused to increase El-Said’s salary beyond 20 million Egyptian pounds per season, making the total contract around 40 million pounds for two seasons. This amount includes previous financial dues that the player waived in favor of Pyramids FC during his transfer.

Rejection of Excessive Demands
The board rejected the figures requested by El-Said, which reached 35 million pounds per season, considering them exaggerated and unsuitable for the team. They also noted that such high demands could increase pressure on the club’s management regarding salaries.

Final and Fixed Decision
The board informed the planning committee and the responsible member, Amr El-Ganainy, that this is the final amount to be paid from the club’s treasury, while remaining open to any external support if a businessman wishes to increase the salary outside the club’s budget.
