Oday Dabbagh Returns to Zamalek Training After Recovering from Injury
Zamalek striker Oday Dabbagh rejoined team training on Tuesday after fully recovering from a groin injury, as the White Knights prepare to face Somalia’s Dekedaha in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32.
🏃♂️ Zamalek’s Tuesday training session at the Military Academy Stadium witnessed the return of Palestinian forward Oday Dabbagh, who has fully recovered from the groin injury that kept him sidelined in recent weeks.
💪 Dabbagh’s return comes as part of the team’s preparations for their upcoming clash against Dekedaha SC of Somalia in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32, scheduled for Friday evening at Al Salam Stadium.
Meanwhile, Abdallah El Said and Nabil Emad “Dunga” also participated in full training after being rested by the technical staff during the first leg, which Zamalek won convincingly 6–0 at Cairo International Stadium ⚽️.
🎯 Before the session, head coach Yannick Ferrera held a tactical meeting with the players to discuss key strategic points and emphasize focus and readiness ahead of the decisive return leg. The meeting aims to align the club’s internal regulations with the amended Egyptian Sports Law No. 71 of 2017, updated by Law No. 171 of 2025.
📜 For the meeting to be valid, at least 4,000 members must attend in person, and proposed amendments must be approved by a majority of valid votes. Proxy or delegated voting is not permitted.
