Pyramids FC moved quickly after their heavy defeat to National Bank, losing 6–1 in the opening round of the Egypt Capital Cup group stage.
According to a club source, the management has already taken a decisive technical step for the upcoming matches.
The source confirmed that Mahmoud Samir, the head coach of the youth team, will lead Pyramids in the remaining fixtures of the competition, reflecting the club’s intention to give opportunities to young players and reduce pressure on the first team.
The source added that the defeat had no negative effect on the club internally, stressing that Pyramids will benefit from their young talents, with the possibility of promoting some of them to the first team soon.
