German club Stuttgart has resumed negotiations with Al Ahly regarding the transfer of young striker Bilal Atiya, a standout for both Al Ahly and Egypt’s U17 national team, marking a potential step toward his European career after proving himself locally and internationally.

Atiya previously had a trial period with Stuttgart in July, showcasing exceptional physical and technical abilities, including impressive speed, dribbling skills, accurate shooting, and playmaking vision, capturing the attention of club officials and coaching staff.

Considered one of Egypt’s most promising talents, Atiya has scored multiple goals for Al Ahly and the youth team, while also competing in crucial matches with the U17 national team, most recently in the World Cup in Qatar, where Egypt exited in the Round of 32. His individual performance earned widespread praise, keeping European clubs closely monitoring his progress.

A source within Al Ahly confirmed that discussions with Stuttgart remain at an initial stage through intermediaries, with no official agreement yet. The source added that the club is carefully evaluating all details to safeguard the player’s technical and financial future.

Stuttgart’s media officer previously stated that the club is highly impressed by Atiya’s abilities but cannot sign him professionally before January 2026, due to international regulations on minors. At that time, he will reach the legal age to sign an international contract.

With Stuttgart monitoring him closely, other European clubs are expected to show interest, making Bilal Atiya one of the most exciting young talents in Egyptian and international football in the coming years.
