The Tunisian Football Federation released an official statement confirming that Celtic winger Sebastian Tonakti has been ruled out of the national team camp before Tunisia’s upcoming friendly matches this month 🦅.
According to the statement, Tonakti’s absence is due to health reasons, and no replacement will be called up for this international break.
Tunisia will kick off their friendlies against Mauritania today (Wednesday) at Hammadi Agrebi Stadium in Rades, followed by a clash with Jordan on Friday, before meeting Brazil next Tuesday in France 🇫🇷⚽.
These matches come as part of Tunisia’s preparations for the Arab Cup in Qatar (December 1–18, 2025) and the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco (December 21, 2025 – January 18, 2026).
