Zamalek SC mourned the passing of the brother of former football star Farouk Gaafar on Friday, expressing heartfelt condolences to the family.
Zamalek posted on its official Facebook page: "The Zamalek board, headed by Hussein Labib, along with all club teams and technical staff, extends sincere condolences to Captain Farouk Gaafar, former star of the White Castle, and to Seif Gaafar, player of the club's team, for the loss of his brother and uncle, who passed away today, Friday. May God have mercy on him, grant him paradise, and give his family patience and solace."
The family announced that the funeral will be held on Sunday in Al-Munira, Cairo, according to Farouk Gaafar’s statement after the death 🕊️.
