Sports media personality Ahmed Hassan revealed that Zamalek Club remains determined to finalize the signing of Palestinian midfielder Hamed Hamdan, the Petrojet star, despite the firm stance taken by the Petrojet management, who have strongly rejected the idea of letting go of their player during the current transfer window.

Ahmed Hassan wrote on his official Facebook account: “Zamalek refuses to back down from the Hamed Hamdan deal,” confirming that the White Castle has prioritized the player to strengthen its midfield before the summer transfer window closes at the end of this month.

Meanwhile, a source close to the player denied rumors suggesting a Qatari offer mediated by Al Ahly Club. The source explained that the offer came through the marketing agency handling the player's file and was reviewed internally at Petrojet. However, the club rejected it for purely financial reasons, considering it below expectations. The source also indicated that the offer brought no sporting benefit to either the player or the club.

On a personal level, Hamdan’s brother expressed the family’s hope for his move to Zamalek—even without financial compensation—via a Facebook post, saying:

"Here in Gaza, we dream of seeing Hamed wear the jersey of the great Zamalek Club, the Club of the Century. It would be a historic step for a Palestinian player in the Egyptian league, and even if the move happens for free, it would still be a dream come true for us."
Hamed Hamdan is considered one of the most promising Palestinian talents in Egyptian football. He stands out for his versatility in midfield, being able to play as a playmaker or an attacking winger. He caught the eye last season with his key passes and playmaking abilities, making him a target for several top clubs.

So far, there has been no official response from Petrojet’s management outlining the terms for negotiation. However, sources suggest that the club is keen to either benefit from the player’s services in the upcoming season or receive a financial offer exceeding 3 million Egyptian pounds to approve his departure.

On the fan side, Zamalek supporters are closely following the situation, with many viewing Hamdan as a valuable addition to a midfield that needs fresh energy after the departure of several key players. On the other hand, Petrojet fans are watching the matter cautiously, concerned about a potential negative impact on their squad ahead of the new season.

Ultimately, the ball remains in Petrojet’s court to make a final decision in the coming days amid pressure from Zamalek and the player’s strong desire to take on a new challenge worthy of his career ambitions.
