The technical staff of Wadi Degla, led by Mohamed El-Sheikh, announced the team’s lineup for the strong clash against Tala’ea El Gaish in the quarterfinals of the Egypt Capital Cup, in its fifth edition for the 2025–2026 season.
The lineup features Ziad Osama, known as “Zizo,” in the attacking front, in an effort to strengthen the team’s offensive power during the anticipated match.
Wadi Degla entered the match with the following lineup:
Goalkeeper: Amr Hossam
Defense: Shadi Maher – Seif Teka – Mohamed Ragab – Ahmed Dahesh
Midfield: Ahmed El-Shamy – Mohamed Abdel-Aaty – Ahmed “Scholes”
Attack: Youssef Ouya – Frank Boli – Ziad Osama “Zizo”
Substitutes: Amr Shaban – Mahmoud Diasty – Mohamed Abdelrahim – Ahmed Reda – Ahmed Ayman – Ibrahim El-Banasy – Daniel Mischel – Hamza Hassan – Omar Adly.
The match kicks off at 5:00 PM Cairo time, 6:00 PM Mecca time, and will be broadcast on On Sport 1.
Historically, the two teams have met in 20 matches: Wadi Degla won 7, Tala’ea El Gaish won 6, and 7 matches ended in draws. Wadi Degla scored 23 goals, while Tala’ea El Gaish scored 18.
