El-Wensh said in his comments, "It’s hard to waste the hard work I’ve put in at Zamalek by moving to Al-Ahly if the club decides to let me go. I wouldn't have achieved what I have in my career without the support of Zamalek and its fans." He added that leaving for a rival team with such a long history with Zamalek would be extremely difficult, especially if there were no other options.
He continued, saying, "If I fall short in serving the club, the fans will not hesitate to criticize me. As players, we constantly hear this criticism, but we know how to handle it. Criticism is normal, but we must focus on our work on the field." He explained that the fans' comments don’t affect him much, and he always strives to focus on giving his best performance in matches.
El-Wensh confirmed that he never goes to the coach asking to play. He said, "I’ve never gone to ask the coaches to play. Of course, I want to play in every match, but I respect the coaches’ decisions and work to be ready at any time. I always thank Coach Hassan Shehata for criticizing me early in my career at Zamalek, as it motivated me to work harder and improve my level."
He also talked about the respect he receives from Zamalek's fans on the streets, affirming that he respects these fans who have supported him throughout his career. He added, "People respect me in the street, and I keep silent when I face any criticism from the fans. I don’t like to respond to anyone; I prefer to focus on hard work on the field."
It is worth noting that El-Wensh recently renewed his contract with Zamalek for two more seasons, confirming his continuation with the white club. His return to the field followed a long absence due to two consecutive anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, which kept him off the pitch for nearly two years. However, he was able to make a strong comeback and prove his worth again in defense for the white shirt.
Regarding his injury, El-Wensh mentioned that returning after those injuries was a significant challenge for him. He added, "The return after the injury was tough, but I was determined to come back stronger. Thank God, I managed to regain my form, and this was thanks to the support of the technical staff and my teammates."
El-Wensh also emphasized the importance of stability within the club and expressed his hope to contribute to winning titles with Zamalek in the future. He stated, "Zamalek is a great club with a long history, and I am proud to play for it. I hope to achieve more titles with the team and continue to give my best performance."
In conclusion, El-Wensh expressed pride in his career with Zamalek, stating that the club played a significant role in developing his football skills. He said, "Zamalek is the place that gave me the opportunity to succeed and grow, and I consider it my home. That’s why I feel I owe it a lot." He added that Zamalek's fans have always been an inspiration for him, and he will always strive to make them happy with victories and titles.
