Kia EV5 Electric SUV Officially Launches in the Market with 530 KM Range
Kia officially unveils the all-new EV5 electric SUV, combining bold design, 218 HP performance, and a 530 km range to challenge the Volkswagen ID.4.
Kia has officially launched its all-new EV5 electric SUV, marking a new era for the Korean automaker in the competitive global EV market. The new model is designed to rival the Volkswagen ID.4 with advanced technology and refined performance.
The Kia EV5 measures 4.61 meters in length with a 2.75-meter wheelbase, offering a spacious interior for five passengers. The luggage capacity ranges from 566 to 1,650 liters, plus an additional 44 liters of storage in the front trunk.
Powering the EV5 is an electric motor delivering 160 kW (218 HP), enabling a top speed of 165 km/h. It’s equipped with an 81.4 kWh battery that delivers an impressive 530 km of driving range on a single charge, ensuring both efficiency and long-distance comfort.
Kia is expected to offer multiple variants of the EV5 with fast-charging support and advanced driver assistance systems, reinforcing its growing presence among the world’s leading EV manufacturers.
