Nissan Leads Egypt’s New Car Registrations with Three Top Models
Nissan has secured the top position in Egypt’s new car registration rankings for September 2025, with three standout models dominating official licensing data.
Nissan continues to strengthen its dominance in the Egyptian automotive market, taking the lead among all car brands in September 2025 according to the latest report from the Egyptian Compulsory Vehicle Insurance Association. The report revealed that 56,690 new vehicles were registered during the month — an 8% increase from August — including 2,337 units carrying the Nissan badge.
The Nissan Sunny topped the list with 1,449 units, followed by the Nissan Sentra with 575 registrations, and the Nissan Qashqai SUV with 150 units. These three models played a major role in securing Nissan’s leading position in Egypt’s passenger car market.
The Nissan Sunny 2026 comes with a 1.5L engine delivering 108 hp, available with manual or automatic transmission, and an average fuel consumption of 6.9 L/100 km. Prices start from EGP 645,000 up to EGP 795,000.
Meanwhile, the locally assembled Nissan Sentra features a 1.6L engine producing 118 hp, CVT transmission, a 7-inch infotainment display, advanced safety systems, and a retail price of EGP 899,000.
The imported Nissan Qashqai offers either a 190 hp e-Power hybrid system or a 1.3L turbo engine. It boasts luxurious features such as a 3D 360° camera system, high-quality interior finishes, and advanced driver-assistance technologies, with prices ranging from EGP 1,464,000 to EGP 1,949,000.
Through these models, Nissan reaffirms its strong presence and customer trust in Egypt, continuing to lead the market with innovation, performance, and reliability.
The official distributor of Proton in Egypt announced a price increase for the Saga 2026 model by EGP 50,000, alongside the launch of a new promotional campaign titled “Saga Premium 10 on 10” without revealing further details.
