28-Year-Old Dispute Resurfaces Between Samira Ahmed & Wafaa Sadek
Nearly 28 years after the series "A Woman from the Time of Love," an old conflict resurfaces between Samira Ahmed and Wafaa Sadek. Sadek revealed details about her removal from the show despite filming several days, while Ahmed refuses to respond, emphasizing the director’s authority ✨.
The long-standing dispute between Samira Ahmed and Wafaa Sadek resurfaced recently after Sadek appeared on the YouTube program "Asal w Tahina," revealing she was removed from the series "A Woman from the Time of Love" after filming 4 days. Director replaced her with Jeihan Fadel 🎬💔.
Sadek said: "I filmed 4 days and didn’t leave. Since Samira Ahmed was the star, she took precedence. It was an important role and she is a major star with a huge audience. I work because I love the profession, but she would oppose me and resent what I love, so I didn’t get what I wanted" 💬.
She added: "There was no real chemistry between us. To me at that time, she was 'Aunt Samira,' because she and Mr. Safwat Ghattas are family friends. There could be no jealousy between us, and we had nothing in common" ✨💛.
Samira Ahmed’s Response
Samira Ahmed declined to directly respond to Sadek's remarks, stating in a private comment: "I do not wish to respond to these statements. The decision to remove her was made by the director, not me. I don’t understand why this is resurfacing after 20 years" 📝.
She added in a message to Sadek: "Reopening the issue doesn’t bother me, but I don’t understand why it is brought up again" 💬✨.
