The upcoming film 7DOGS continues to attract major attention across the Arab world after Turki Alalshikh unveiled the movie’s latest teaser trailer and officially announced its theatrical release date for May 27, 2026, coinciding with the Eid Al-Adha holiday season.
“7DOGS” is considered one of the biggest Arab film productions to date, with a budget exceeding $40 million. The movie was filmed entirely in Riyadh, where production and post-production work continued for several months before wrapping in April 2026.
The film is based on a story by Turki Alalshikh in collaboration with the “BigTime” team, while the screenplay and dialogue were written by Mohammed Al-Dabbah. Directing duties were handled by Belgian-Moroccan filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who are widely recognized for their internationally successful cinematic projects.
The movie features a star-studded cast led by Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz, alongside Nasser Al Qasabi, Sayed Ragab, Tara Emad, Sandy Bella, Hana El Zahed, Hala Sedki, and Menna Shalaby. The film also includes appearances by international stars such as Salman Khan and Monica Bellucci.
Turki Alalshikh previously described the project as “the biggest Arab production ever featuring top stars,” which significantly increased anticipation surrounding the film, especially after the teaser showcased large-scale action scenes and high-end production value.
The film is expected to receive strong audience attention upon its release, particularly due to its massive cast of Arab and international stars, in addition to its launch during the highly competitive Eid Al-Adha movie season.
