In an honest and emotional message, actress Rahma Ahmed spoke openly on Facebook about the true reasons behind her decision to step away from acting, putting an end to rumors linking her choice to hijab or religious motives. 💬✨

🚫 No Hijab, No Repentance

Rahma clearly stated that her decision has nothing to do with wearing hijab, stressing that social media claims were inaccurate.
She explained that her message was simple and direct: “Enough acting,” without rejecting art or diminishing its value. 🙏🎭

🎭 Respect for Art, Refusal of the Price

She emphasized her deep respect for art and artists, but revealed that stepping away was driven by the “high price” sometimes demanded to continue or secure bigger roles—whether through compromises, favors, or ethical boundaries. ⚖️

🌱 A Journey of Pride

Rahma reflected on her artistic journey, expressing pride in the roles she played, no matter how small they seemed, along with her theater experience and years of study and effort. 🎬💪

🧠 An Inner Struggle

She spoke about a long internal struggle between waiting for a fair opportunity based purely on talent and facing psychological and financial pressures—or accepting offers that would cost her part of her humanity.
“I was offered bigger roles, but the price would have taken a piece of my soul,” she said. 💔

🛑 Conscience First

Rahma admitted she could not adapt to what she described as “climbing tactics” or emotional exploitation, choosing her conscience even if it meant personal and professional loss.

❤️ A Message to the Public

She ended her message by thanking everyone who supported her and urging people to be kinder to artists:
“Egyptian artists are among the most talented yet most wronged. One word can break a heart.” 💬💔

She concluded proudly:
“The word ‘extra’ doesn’t hurt me. You don’t know how strong I was behind the scenes.” 🌟
