Actor Abdel Moneim El-Morsafi revealed behind-the-scenes details of his involvement in the TV series "Molouk El-Gada’ana", which aired during Ramadan 2021. He explained that he was initially set to play a major role but was suddenly excluded from the project without any explanation from the production team. El-Morsafi confirmed that this decision came despite him having signed an official contract for five episodes and preparing to travel to Lebanon to begin filming.

El-Morsafi stated that he received an official call from the production team offering him a significant role. He signed the contract and began preparations for the part. However, the production later decided to assign the role to the late star Youssef Shaaban, without providing El-Morsafi with any formal explanation.
