Adam Bakri Reveals Secrets of His Success and Experience in "Hell Gate"
Palestinian actor Adam Bakri discusses the artistic stagnation after "Omar" and his enriching experience in the series "Hell Gate", highlighting his journey between Arab and international cinema.
During a panel at the Cairo International Film Festival, Adam Bakri spoke about the period after his acclaimed film "Omar", revealing he experienced significant artistic stagnation after achieving his dream at a young age 🌀.
Bakri stated: "I went through a long artistic freeze after 'Omar'. I wasn’t psychologically ready for such success at a young age. Yet, I’m grateful because it helped me understand what I truly want early on".
He added: "All my struggles are nothing compared to what any Palestinian goes through, and young people should truly understand themselves before embarking on any path" 💪🇵🇸.
Bakri explained that delays in his Arab projects were due to his former agent, who tried to divert him from Arab roles. His career rebounded with "Hell Gate", a series that was personally significant, introducing him to his wife Cynthia and influencing his move to Dubai, despite his love for New York 🏙️❤️.
Regarding Egypt, he said: "Egypt is amazing, and I want to do many projects here, visiting iconic places like the pyramids and the new Egyptian museum" 🇪🇬✨.
Bakri is set to star in an Egyptian series during Ramadan, describing it as an opportunity to contribute impactful work in Arab drama while preserving his Palestinian identity in international projects 🌍🎬.
The Cairo International Film Festival is one of the oldest festivals in the Arab world and Africa, combining artistic and professional aspects, serving as a key platform for cultural dialogue and enhancing the presence of Arab cinema globally 🌟🎥.
