After a Serious Injury and 4 Years in Isolation… Hussein Mamlook Tells the Full Story
Actor Hussein Mamlook reveals details of his illness and the reason behind his 4-year absence… confirms: “Grief destroyed me, but I’m coming back stronger.”
Actor Hussein Mamlook, presenter of the show “Adiny ‘Aqlak”, has revealed details of his health crisis that kept him away from the artistic scene for a full four years. He noted that grief played a major role in the deterioration of both his physical and mental health, leading to an extremely difficult phase that was hard to overcome.
Mamlook appeared in a video posted on his personal TikTok account, where he spoke about his struggles, saying:
“I was deeply saddened and broke down… I spent four years completely disconnected from the world. But thank God, I’m back. Grief is truly deadly. My advice to everyone: laugh—why stress, worry, or grieve?”
Sources close to the actor confirmed that his disappearance from the public eye and the artistic world was not by choice, but due to a sudden health emergency. It began with a shingles infection, which was followed by a severe case of spinal cord inflammation, forcing him to undergo extended treatment at Ain Shams Specialized Hospital.
The same sources added that although his condition improved somewhat, he later suffered a sudden fall that resulted in a pelvic fracture. This required further treatment at Helal Orthopedic Hospital, marking one of the most challenging periods of his life.
After years of isolation and recovery, the sources confirmed that Hussein Mamlook has shown significant improvement and is now preparing to return to his audience. He expressed deep longing for his fans and promised surprises in the near future. He affirmed that his love for art and his audience was the main motivation behind holding on to hope and reclaiming his life.
