The Egyptian artistic community has been mourning the sudden death of Yasmin Seif Allah Abu El-Naga, the only daughter of legendary actress Naglaa Fathy.
Yasmin passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, following a sudden heart attack. Her father, actor Seif Abu El-Naga, announced the tragic news, while director Khodr Mohamed Khodr, her former husband and the father of her daughter, shared an emotional tribute asking people to pray for her.

Yasmin Abu El-Naga’s family announced that her condolence ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026, after Maghrib prayer, at Omar Ibn Abdel Aziz Mosque near Heliopolis Club.
Family members, close friends and people from the Egyptian entertainment community are expected to attend and offer their condolences to Naglaa Fathy and the rest of the family.

Yasmin’s funeral took place on Monday, August 31, after noon prayer at Omar Ibn Abdel Aziz Mosque near Heliopolis Club.
Her body was later laid to rest at the Al-Naga family cemetery in Heliopolis, behind the Girls’ College area.
The funeral was marked by deeply emotional scenes, with Naglaa Fathy appearing devastated by the loss of her only daughter.
Yasmin’s father, Seif Abu El-Naga, also attended the funeral, while her former husband Khodr Mohamed Khodr took part in saying goodbye to her.

Khodr Mohamed Khodr was among the first to announce Yasmin’s death.
He described her as the mother of his daughter and asked his followers to pray for her mercy and forgiveness.

👩👧 Who Was Yasmin Abu El-Naga?
Yasmin Seif Allah Abu El-Naga was the only daughter of actress Naglaa Fathy and engineer Seif Abu El-Naga, who was also known for appearing in the classic Egyptian film “Empire M” in 1972.
Naglaa Fathy and Seif Abu El-Naga were married for around five years and had their daughter Yasmin before eventually separating.
Despite the separation, Yasmin maintained a good relationship with both parents.
