Ahmed Fathy revealed the release date for his new film “Writer, Director, and Thief” starring Mai Kassab, set to hit cinemas across Egypt on January 14, 2026.
Actor Ahmed Fathy announced on his official Facebook account the release date for his upcoming film “Writer, Director, and Thief”, which is scheduled to premiere in all Egyptian cinemas on January 14, 2026.
He shared the official poster with the message:
"Stay tuned for ‘Writer, Director, and Thief’… in cinemas across Egypt on January 14."
The film stars Mai Kassab, Ahmed Fathy, Mimi Gamal, Sami Maghawy, Otaka, Yasser El Tougy, Nelly Mahmoud, and Mahmoud Hafez, written by Michel Mounir and directed by Osama Omar.
Recently, Ahmed Fathy also starred in the Ramadan drama “Joder 2”, alongside a stellar cast including Yasser Galal, Yasmin Raees, Nour Al-Lebanese, Tara Emad, Jehan El Shamshergi, Mahmoud El Bazawy, Wafaa Amer, Eiten Amer, Aida Riyadh, Sami Maghawy, Mohamed El Taji, Abdelaziz Mekhyon, and Ahmed Badr, directed by Islam Khairy and written by Anwar Abdel Magith.
