The family of late Egyptian actor Ahmed Galal Abdel Kawy has announced the postponement of his funeral prayers and burial, which were originally scheduled to take place after Asr prayer at Al-Hosary Mosque in 6th of October City.

Why Was the Funeral Postponed?

Mohamed Abdel Kawy, the late actor's brother, explained in a Facebook post that the funeral was postponed due to their father's health condition, in addition to waiting for other family members traveling from abroad to attend the funeral.

He apologized to everyone and confirmed that the family would announce the new funeral date as soon as the necessary arrangements are completed.
