His dedication to theater affected his academic journey, as he was unable to achieve high grades in secondary school for several years due to his strong involvement in artistic activities.

He also revealed that his father was affected by this situation and worried about his future, as he preferred that he focus more on education.

However, Maher continued following his passion for acting and theater, believing that art was the path where he could express himself.

The actor also shared an interesting story from his school theater days, explaining that he once used a clever trick by imitating an official signature to obtain costumes needed for a theater performance in the Republic Theater Competition.

Ahmed Maher was honored during the 19th edition of the Egyptian National Theater Festival, which celebrated several major figures in Egyptian art and theater.
