⚽ Al Ahly has reportedly completed negotiations with midfielder Emam Ashour, reaching a final agreement to extend his contract and secure his future with the club.
According to the reported details, Ashour's previous contract was set to expire in 2028. The new agreement extends his stay by three more seasons, keeping him at Al Ahly until 2031.
The revised contract reportedly grants the player a net annual salary of EGP 30 million, in addition to EGP 10 million in bonuses and performance-related incentives.
A key factor in reaching the agreement was the club's advertising strategy. Instead of significantly increasing the wage budget, Al Ahly reportedly structured additional earnings through commercial and advertising deals, allowing the player to receive income comparable to his annual salary.
This approach reflects the club's recent strategy of combining fixed salaries with marketing opportunities while maintaining financial balance and respecting its internal wage structure.
Since joining Al Ahly, Emam Ashour has established himself as one of the team's most influential midfielders thanks to his technical quality, energy, and decisive performances in major matches.
The reported agreement also provides stability for the club ahead of upcoming domestic and continental competitions, ensuring that one of its core players remains part of the squad for years to come.
While the financial figures have been widely circulated in media reports, Al Ahly has not yet issued an official statement confirming the specific terms of the contract extension.
