🚇 In an unprecedented cultural scene, Gamal Abdel Nasser Metro Station hosted a live performance of Al-Sirah Al-Hilaliya, transforming public transit space into a stage for traditional storytelling and epic narration 🔥

🎭 The performance was delivered by artist Ezz El-Souhagy’s troupe, presenting selected passages from the legendary epic. Commuters paused to watch, interact, and capture moments from the live show, creating spontaneous engagement between artists and audience 📸✨

👥 Dozens of passengers gathered around the performers to listen to tales of bravery, love, and historical journeys that recall the traditional gatherings of Ramadan nights — when storytellers attracted crowds with oral narration and poetic performance 🏺

📌 The event was organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with cultural institutions, as part of an initiative aimed at integrating heritage arts into public spaces and increasing cultural awareness 🎨

✨ Additionally, a special cultural evening titled “After Praise – In Love of Al-Sirah Al-Hilaliya” is scheduled to take place on February 24 and 25 at 8:00 PM, open to the public to further celebrate and preserve this intangible heritage 🤍

🌙 Historically, the epic was a key part of traditional social gatherings, strengthening collective memory and cultural identity through storytelling traditions.

🌍 Recognized internationally in 2008 by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Al-Sirah Al-Hilaliya remains a symbol of artistic and historical value that transcends borders.

🔥 This initiative highlights how heritage can move beyond museums and books to become a living experience within everyday public life.
