🎭 Alexandria Celebrates July 23 Revolution Through Art and Culture

The General Authority for Cultural Palaces continued its cultural and artistic activities in Alexandria as part of the “Art Street” initiative, celebrating the anniversary of the July 23 Revolution with a diverse program combining folk arts, creativity, and community engagement.

✨ The events attracted large crowds of Alexandria residents, along with cultural and executive officials, highlighting the role of art in connecting communities and spreading cultural awareness.

The celebrations are part of the Ministry of Culture’s efforts to bring artistic activities closer to citizens through open spaces and public events.

The “Art Street” initiative aims to bring culture directly to audiences by organizing artistic activities that reflect Alexandria’s unique cultural identity.

The program included specialized workshops in puppet making and handicrafts, helping children and young participants discover their talents and develop creative skills.

💃 Bolkly Folk Art Group Delivers Memorable Performance

The day concluded with a special performance by the Bolkly Children and Youth Folk Art Group, led by artist Sayed Ahmed.

The group presented several traditional performances, including:

The events were attended by Dr. Manal Yemeni, Director General of Alexandria Culture Branch, Engineer Eman Abbas, Head of Wasat District, along with cultural figures and large numbers of citizens.
