Ali Hamdi confirmed that he has not retired from art, as some may think, and explained that his absence from the artistic scene recently is due to not receiving artistic offers that match his artistic aspirations and long career in the art world. In his exclusive statements, Ali confirmed that he hasn't distanced himself from the field but is waiting for the right opportunity that suits his artistic work and the expectations of his audience. He added, saying, "I have not retired from art; the reason for my absence is that I have not been offered high-quality works recently, and when roles are offered to me, they are often not suitable for me."

Hamdi is considered one of the artists who have managed to leave a strong mark in many artistic works. Despite his absence, his audience has not forgotten his creativity. However, the Egyptian artist believes that his return will be through a work that aligns with his career and helps reaffirm his position on the artistic scene.

Regarding the past period, Hamdi said that he still has much to offer to the art world, believing he is capable of succeeding in various artistic genres, whether drama or comedy. He clarified that he is waiting for a project that will allow him to present something new and impactful, saying, "I still have many ideas and roles I want to present to the audience, and I will carefully choose the projects that deserve my involvement."

Ali Hamdi, who started his artistic journey at a young age, has presented many works that were widely successful. One of his most notable contributions was his role in the 2019 film "Qahwa Borsa Misr," where he delivered a memorable performance, and the film received both critical and public acclaim. He also participated in the second season of the series "Afrah Iblis" in the same year, where he played his role in a dramatic social context that captivated the audience.

The series "Afrah Iblis" centers around Hamam, a businessman from Upper Egypt, who falls in love with a maid brought by his wife Jamalat to gain her sympathy. At the same time, Hamam tries to reach influential people to control the iron trade. The series stars the actor Jamal Suleiman, who played Hamam, and the work made a strong impact in the 2019 drama season.

Among his recent works, Hamdi also participated in the second season of the series "Ramadan Karim," which aired in Ramadan 2023. The series, directed by Samih Abdel Aziz and written by Ahmed Abdullah, is a comedy-drama that highlights the lives of the residents of a popular neighborhood during Ramadan. The show was well-received by the audience due to its cohesive plot and the outstanding performances of the actors. Alongside Ali Hamdi, the cast included Bayoumi Fouad, Sayed Ragae, Mohamed Lotfy, Karim Afifi, and Dina Mohsen, known as "Wizo."

Despite these successful artistic contributions that showcased his talent and distinguished performance, Ali Hamdi remains in a waiting period for a new opportunity, looking forward to returning strongly to the artistic scene. It seems that the artist is particularly focused on the upcoming work that will restore his position and achieve the continuous success he aspires to. Despite his absence, he still holds a significant place in the hearts of his audience, who eagerly anticipate seeing him in new roles that add to his long artistic career.

Ali Hamdi is considered one of the distinguished artists in the Egyptian artistic scene, who continues to seek out the work that suits him and fully represents his artistic creations, adhering to the principle that leads him to success: "Waiting for the good work that befits the artist and the audience."
