Renowned media personality Dr. Amr El-Leithy announced his apology for not appearing in the upcoming episode of his radio program "Abwab Al-Kheir" on Radio Misr due to health issues that forced him to take a break.
The program is dedicated to providing humanitarian and social support for those in need. It offers various types of financial aid, including assistance with eye surgeries, cosmetic procedures, lens implants, retinal injections, and prosthetic eyes. The initiative also helps pay off debts for indebted women (known as gharemat), installs hearing aids, and supports small business ventures and marriage costs for orphans.In addition, the show focuses on offering medical aid for complex surgeries, such as tumor removals, brain and spinal surgeries, open-heart operations, and stent placements. It also helps fund small projects like grocery stores, clothing shops, and sewing machine businesses, along with fully preparing orphan brides for marriage.
New Season Launch & Broadcast Time
The new season of "Abwab Al-Kheir" launched on Sunday, May 18, and airs weekly every Sunday at 3 PM, with a repeat broadcast on Monday at 12 PM on Radio Misr.
Successful Surgery for Dr. Amr El-Leithy
Dr. Amr El-Leithy, who also serves as the President of the Union of Broadcasting and Television Organizations of the OIC Countries, recently underwent a successful surgery at Al-Safa Hospital. He shared a post-operative photo on his official Facebook account, extending heartfelt thanks to his surgeon, Dr. Mohamed Haqqi.
