In a surprising yet seemingly well-considered move, YouTuber Ali Ghazlan announced his separation from TV presenter and former Miss Egypt Farah Shaaban, closing a chapter in their relationship that had seen more than one attempt to continue.
Although the news of the separation may come as a shock to followers, the way it was announced reflected a great deal of calmness and maturity. Both parties chose to avoid any public conflict, emphasizing that mutual respect will remain the foundation of their relationship—especially given their shared responsibility toward their son.
Ali Ghazlan wrote on his Instagram account:
“God’s will has been done… Farah and I are officially divorced.”
He added:
He continued:
“Maybe we didn’t succeed as a couple, but God willing, we will succeed in being good parents to our son.”
He also said:
“I hope everyone respects our decision and doesn’t ask us for details, because we won’t speak about anything. We will continue to support each other for the sake of our son, Rahim.”
He concluded:
“This is very difficult for us. But God doesn’t do anything bad—everything happens for a reason. We hope what’s coming in our lives will be better for us, and please keep us in your prayers.”
It seems that this ending did not come entirely out of the blue, but rather as the result of a long journey of attempts and experiences—making the decision, despite its difficulty, a mature agreement that preserves what remains of goodwill between them.
