Aziz Maraka Strikes Again: A New Album with a “Mognanani” Vibe
Aziz Maraka is preparing to release a new 5-track album with a musical vibe similar to his hit song "Mognanani," in collaboration with composer Maher Al-Mallakh.

Jordanian artist Aziz Maraka is preparing to release his new album in the coming days, in collaboration with music producer and composer Maher Al-Mallakh—an eagerly anticipated step by fans who have been missing his recent work.
The album consists of five songs produced with a musical spirit similar to his hit song “Mognanani,” which was one of his most popular tracks and garnered high streaming numbers across various platforms. The songs blend Eastern rock with Arabic pop in a contemporary artistic style. Notable tracks announced from the album include "Lawlaki" and "Sa’at."
This musical collaboration between Aziz Maraka and composer Maher Al-Mallakh marks a return after several successful past projects. Fans hope the new album maintains Aziz’s signature artistic essence, both in terms of musical arrangement and emotionally resonant lyrics.
Aziz Maraka is known for presenting alternative music that fuses soulful melodies, powerful lyrics, and modern rhythms. His unique artistic identity has made him a standout in the Arab world, attracting diverse age groups—especially younger listeners seeking authenticity in a modern form.
It’s worth noting that Aziz Maraka’s latest musical work was the theme song for the Ramadan 2025 TV series Athena, starring actress Riham Hagag. The song received widespread acclaim for its deep lyrics reflecting tangible human realities:
“Amid the crowd of faces...
Strange people don’t betray, close ones don’t stay...
A strange world, full of mysteries...
And I don’t even know what’s within me...
Between doubts, between fears...
My heart sees, my heart knows...
No illusion can deceive it...
Amid the crowd of faces...
Cowardly eyes show no shame...
No matter what they say, no matter what they try...
Don’t believe them.”
The Athena series featured a strong cast including Riham Hagag, Sawsan Badr, Ahmed Magdy, Nabil Issa, Mahmoud Qabil, Salwa Mohamed Ali, Miran Abdel Warith, Sherif Hafez, and Tamer Hashem. It was written by Mohamed Nayyer and directed by Yehia Ismail, consisting of 15 episodes.
The Arab audience eagerly awaits the release of Aziz Maraka’s new album, which promises a distinct musical offering that continues his artistic journey—a journey known for balancing experimentation with cultural authenticity.
The album also comes at a time when the Arab music scene is undergoing significant renewal, and it appears Aziz is aiming to present music that retains his unique identity while staying true to his signature style.
