BTS Turns ARIRANG Comeback Into Cultural Experience
Global K-pop sensation BTS is preparing a unique cultural experience alongside the release of their new album ARIRANG. Through a special pop-up store in Seoul, the group blends modern fashion with traditional Korean aesthetics, offering fans a new way to connect with Korean culture.
As excitement builds around their highly anticipated comeback, BTS is preparing to launch a special pop-up store celebrating the release of their upcoming album ARIRANG.
The project goes beyond a typical merchandise shop. Instead, it presents a creative cultural space where music, fashion, and Korean heritage come together in a unique experience for fans. 🌏✨
The initiative is developed in collaboration with the National Museum Cultural Foundation, which works to preserve and promote Korean cultural heritage. Together, they created a collection of products inspired by traditional Korean aesthetics, reimagined with modern design concepts suitable for global audiences.
These exclusive items were produced with the cultural brand MU:DS, aiming to transform traditional cultural elements into stylish, everyday merchandise that fans can wear and collect.
Visitors will find a variety of exclusive items, including:
👕 ARIRANG-themed hoodies
🧢 Stylish baseball caps
🎁 Cultural merchandise inspired by Korean art
Some of the products will be available for early purchase through the Weverse platform starting March 12, while the full merchandise line will officially launch on March 20, the same day the album is released.
Fans will also have the chance to explore selected collaboration items at the gift shop of the National Museum of Korea, where the cultural partnership will be highlighted.
The pop-up event will take place in Seoul across two locations:
🏬 Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch The Heritage
🏢 The headquarters of HYBE in Yongsan district.
The store will operate from March 20 at 1 PM until April 12 at 8:30 PM, with visits managed through the Weverse Spot reservation system to ensure a smooth and comfortable fan experience.
The album ARIRANG represents the group’s identity and emotional storytelling centered around love and connection.
