🎬 Cinema El Shaab Continues Major Expansion Across Egypt

Egypt’s Ministry of Culture is currently finalizing preparations for a major expansion of the “Cinema El Shaab” project, one of the country’s most successful cultural entertainment initiatives in recent years.

The project has gained strong popularity by offering the latest Egyptian films at affordable ticket prices inside state-run cultural palaces and theaters, making cinema accessible to wider audiences across Egypt. ✨

This new expansion comes under the directives of Minister of Culture Dr. Jehan Zaki, who emphasized the importance of extending cultural services and artistic activities to more governorates and cities as part of Egypt’s cultural justice strategy.

🍿 Five New Cinema Locations to Open Soon

Artist and cultural official Tamer Abdel Monem announced that five new Cinema El Shaab branches will open during the upcoming period.

The expansion plan includes new cinema venues at Mansoura Culture Palace and Helwan Culture Palace, in addition to a new branch inside Fawzy Fawzy Theater in Aswan and another at Hurghada Culture Palace.

A fifth branch is also scheduled to launch at the 15 May Theater التابعة للبيت الفني للفنون الشعبية والاستعراضية during the upcoming Eid Al-Adha season. 🎥

🔥 Major Upcoming Films to Lead the New Screenings

Tamer Abdel Monem also revealed that the new cinema venues will showcase some of the most anticipated Egyptian films of the upcoming season.

Among the highlighted releases is “Seven Dogs,” starring Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz, which is considered one of the biggest upcoming action productions in Egyptian cinema.

The project will also feature screenings of “Assad,” starring Mohamed Ramadan, aiming to attract large audiences with highly anticipated commercial films. 🍿🔥

Industry observers expect strong attendance numbers due to the popularity of the stars involved and the increasing success of Cinema El Shaab since its launch.

🏛️ A Cultural Project with Massive Public Success

Since its launch in May 2022, Cinema El Shaab has succeeded in reviving affordable public cinema experiences in Egypt.

The initiative focuses on offering modern commercial films at symbolic ticket prices compared to traditional cinemas, helping attract families, young audiences, and movie lovers from different social backgrounds.

The project has also contributed to revitalizing cultural activities inside government cultural venues and theaters across multiple governorates. 🎭

✨ Supporting Egypt’s Cultural Justice Vision

Through this initiative, the Ministry of Culture aims to strengthen the concept of cultural justice by bringing artistic and entertainment services to cities outside Cairo and major urban centers.

Authorities are also working on upgrading infrastructure and expanding the number of cinema screens in several governorates to support future growth plans. 📽️✨

With continuous expansion and strong audience demand, Cinema El Shaab is expected to become one of Egypt’s most influential cultural entertainment projects in the coming years.
