✨ A new step to advance artistic creativity in Egypt: Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, announced the appointment of Dr. Nabila Hassan Salam as President of the Academy of Arts, implementing the Prime Minister’s decision, highlighting the importance of academic leadership in nurturing Egypt’s creative talents.

🎬 Following the announcement, the Minister met with Dr. Nabila to discuss her upcoming action plan, focusing on enhancing performance across the academy, supporting young talents, and linking education to the job market, emphasizing that the Academy is the primary incubator for artistic creativity in Egypt and a key pillar of the country’s soft power.

💫 The Minister also thanked the former President, Dr. Ghada Gabara, for her significant contributions to academic and administrative development at the Academy.

📚 Dr. Nabila Hassan Salam’s Academic Profile:

• PhD from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain (1998), Faculty of Philosophy, Arts, and Letters, with highest honors, on the topic “Directing Techniques in Children’s Theater.”

• Held several key academic and administrative positions, including Dean of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Alexandria, Head of Acting Department, and Vice Dean (2011-2014).

• Supervised the Central Administration of the National Center for Children’s Culture (2008-2011).

• Professor at the Academy of Arts – Department of Acting and Directing, with extensive teaching experience at Cairo, Minia, Helwan, and 6th of October Universities.
