Egypt’s Public Library Becomes First Arab IBDL Accredited Center
Egypt’s Public Library has become the first Arab library accredited to issue IBDL business leadership certificates, marking a major milestone in youth empowerment and entrepreneurship education.
In a historic move for libraries in Egypt and the Arab world, Egypt’s Public Library announced that its training center has become the first Arab library accredited to issue International Business Leadership License (IBDL) certificates, after gaining international accreditation from Missouri State University 🎓🌍.
This achievement follows a cooperation protocol signed between the library’s training arm and IBDL and Missouri State University, aiming to support executive education and promote entrepreneurship and professional freelancing in Egypt 🇪🇬✨.
🔹 Dr. Rania Shar’an, Director of Egypt’s Public Library, stated that the partnership reflects the library’s strategy to build strong international alliances to support youth, encourage innovation, and help turn ideas into executable projects aligned with local and global labor market demands.
Meanwhile, Mr. Tamer Ali, Director of the training center, said the protocol strengthens the culture of entrepreneurship, motivates youth to pursue professional freelancing, and enhances their leadership and managerial skills, contributing to their integration into the national economy through launching their own projects or leading existing ones 🚀📈.
📌 The protocol grants the training center international accreditation to officially provide IBDL services, tests, and certificates in Egypt, including three international tests granting certificates in:
-
Business Fundamentals
-
Business Professionalism
-
Business Leadership
In addition to specialized certifications such as:
-
Certified Industrial Engineer
-
Certified Instructor
-
Certified Trainer Program in Entrepreneurship 🎓🏆
🔹 Dr. Adel Sadiq, CEO of IBDL, described the partnership as a significant addition to community efforts in entrepreneurship, emphasizing that IBDL certifications provide a professional training and testing model based on international standards, helping evaluate entrepreneurs’ skills and guiding youth toward self-employment and freelancing 💼✨.
With this achievement, Egypt’s Public Library becomes more than a cultural hub—it becomes a professional educational platform empowering youth with internationally recognized certifications that open new career opportunities 💡🌍.
