Egyptian Actor Said Mokhtar Passes Away, Star of Al-Daly
Egyptian actor Said Mokhtar, known for his role in the second season of Al-Daly, has passed away today, leaving behind a rich artistic legacy in television and theater.
The author Walid Youssef announced on Facebook the passing of actor Said Mokhtar 🕊️, writing: "To God we belong and to Him we shall return. May God have mercy on you, Said. A great shock."
Said Mokhtar began his artistic journey by chance, sharing in a previous interview that he loved the arts from a young age and was careful to choose impactful roles that showcased his talent ✨. He made his notable television debut in 2008 with the second season of Al-Daly alongside Nour El-Sherif and writer Walid Seif, a collaboration that shaped his artistic identity.
He also appeared in series like Mish Alf Leila and Zahra and Her Five Husbands, as well as in theater and the film Khalta Omri, with theater being especially close to his heart 🎭.
Known for his wisdom and humor, Said once remarked on marital relationships: "A smart woman is the one who can bring a man back when he drifts away" 💬.
The passing of Said Mokhtar represents a significant loss to the Egyptian artistic scene, but his legacy of memorable works will continue to live in the audience’s memory.
