The ninth episode of Natural Disaster delivers a deeply emotional storyline as Mohamed Shaaban, played by Mohamed Sallam, reaches a point of despair that drives him to consider selling his kidney in order to cover the financial needs of his seven children. This comes after a major conflict with his wife Shorouk, portrayed by Jihad Hossam El-Din.

While searching for someone willing to pay for the operation and undergoing the necessary medical examinations, Mohamed visits Shorouk’s father, played by Kamal Abu Rayya, attempting to convince him that he has found a new job that will earn him substantial income. However, Shorouk’s father refuses to let her return to him, prompting her to break down in tears in her father's arms after her husband leaves the house.

Despite the escalating tension, Mohamed repeatedly tries to contact Shorouk, but she refuses to speak to him unless he proceeds with the operation, illustrating the depth of their family crisis.

The series stars Mohamed Sallam, Jihad Hossam El-Din, Kamal Abu Rayya, Hamza El-Aili, Amgad Abed, Haidy Abdel Khaleq, and Mahra Medhat. It is written by Ahmed Atef Fayad, with music by Khaled Al-Kammar and directed by Hossam Hamed.

Sallam’s latest drama appearance was in the eighth season of El Kebeer Awi, which had a strong presence during Ramadan 2024 and featured many notable stars and guest appearances.
