Fifi Abdou reassures the public about the leader’s health: "Hearing his voice was a blessing from God"

The artist Fifi Abdou reassured the fans of the leader Adel Imam about his health condition, confirming that he is in good health and living peacefully among his family and friends. This reassurance coincided with the celebration of his 85th birthday.

Fifi Abdou shared the story of her latest communication with Adel Imam, saying: "About a month ago, I contacted him through a close friend who visits him regularly at home. I begged him to let me hear the leader’s voice, and indeed he called me. I was very happy when I heard his voice. I felt it was a blessing from God. His voice was reassuring and full of energy."

Fifi said she has great respect for Adel Imam and considers him an exceptional artistic icon who does not come around often. She pointed out that he enriched the Arab screen with timeless works and holds a unique place in the hearts of audiences in Egypt and the Arab world.

Regarding the possibility of his return to acting, Fifi Abdou confirmed that the decision is personal and no one has the right to pressure him. She explained: "The artist is the one who decides the timing of his exit and return. If the leader decides to come back, we will all be happy to have him and welcome him with love and appreciation. If he decides to stop, his place is forever preserved in our hearts."

A dream fulfilled

Fifi revealed that she had dreamed since childhood of working with the leader, saying: "I used to dream of seeing him even once. The dream came true when I appeared with him in scenes from the movie ‘Forbidden on the Wedding Night’ as a small child. That was a great honor for me."

It is worth mentioning that the great artist Adel Imam’s latest artistic appearance was through the series ‘Valentino’ which aired during Ramadan 2020 and achieved wide popular success. The series starred Dalal Abdel Aziz, Hamdy Al-Mirghani, Mohamed Kilani, Tarek Al-Ebiary, Hoda Al-Mufti, and many stars. It was written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and directed by Rami Imam.
