The musical theatrical performance "Gharam Fi El Karnak" is taking part in the activities of the Egyptian National Theater Festival, offering audiences a unique experience that combines singing, dancing, and theatrical performance.

The show is presented as part of the festival’s current edition, with a special performance for the jury following the audience screening, which received attention from theater lovers.

The Egyptian National Theater Festival, held from July 26 to August 11, celebrates Egyptian theatrical productions and highlights different artistic experiences across various theater genres.

The idea of "Gharam Fi El Karnak" is inspired by the famous Egyptian film of the same name, released in 1967, which remains connected to Egyptian artistic heritage and cultural identity.

The theatrical version seeks to revive the spirit of the original work through a modern stage vision that combines traditional Egyptian performances with contemporary theatrical elements.

The show features dancers from Reda Troupe for Folk and Popular Arts, one of Egypt’s most recognized groups dedicated to preserving and presenting Egyptian folk performances.

The artistic team includes musical vision by Mahmoud Sadeq, set design by Mohamed Gaber, lighting design by Ezz Helmy, costumes by Heba Gouda, makeup by Islam Abbas, and video production by Abdelrahman Ghareeb.

The assistant directors are Mohamed Omar and Ahmed Mostafa, while Ahmed Shaarawy serves as executive director. The show is directed by Tamer Abdelmonem and produced by the Artistic House of Folk and Popular Arts.

Through its music, costumes, and performances, "Gharam Fi El Karnak" celebrates Egyptian identity and highlights the importance of preserving cultural heritage through theater.
