Heli Rahbani, the youngest son of legendary singer Fairuz, has passed away months after his brother Ziad Rahbani’s death. Heli had lived with mental and physical disabilities since birth.
Lebanese media reported the death of Heli Rahbani, the youngest son of legendary singer Fairuz, born in 1958 and living with mental and physical disabilities 💔. Heli’s passing comes months after the death of his brother Ziad Rahbani on July 26, 2025, with his first birthday after Ziad’s death marking January 1 this year.
Fairuz, born in 1935 in Lebanon as Nihad Wadie Haddad, loved singing since childhood. Her talent was discovered by composer Mohamed Fleifel and she joined the National Institute of Music. Later, composer Halim El Roumi recognized her exceptional voice and gave her the stage name "Fairuz," launching her legendary music career.
Her collaboration with the Rahbani brothers, Assi and Mansour, marked a turning point, producing numerous iconic works. She married Assi Rahbani and toured globally with him and Mansour, increasing her fame. Fairuz has delivered hundreds of songs and received many awards, including the Order of Honor 1963, the Gold Medal 1975 in Jordan, and the French Order of Arts and Letters in 2020, among others.
