Helpoo Launches Shark Tank Egypt Season 4 with a Powerful Roadside Assistance Pitch
The first episode of Shark Tank Egypt Season 4 kicked off with an impressive pitch by Helpoo — Egypt’s first officially licensed roadside assistance app, offering
The highly anticipated Season 4 premiere of Shark Tank Egypt began with an exciting and heated discussion surrounding Helpoo, a groundbreaking Egyptian mobile application offering on-demand roadside assistance services.
Helpoo stands as Egypt’s first officially licensed app in this field, accredited by the Financial Regulatory Authority. The platform offers a full suite of instant support services for drivers, including towing, tire replacement, battery jump-starts, fuel delivery, and accident reporting — all integrated into one digital ecosystem.
The app also allows users to track the rescue vehicle in real time, view transparent service pricing based on distance via Google Maps, and choose from multiple payment options such as cash, card, or online payments. With 24/7 customer support, Helpoo ensures reliability and trust for users across Egypt.
🔹 A Heated Discussion Among the Sharks

Ahmed Tarek, the founder of Helpoo, presented his pitch seeking EGP 40 million for 25% equity, revealing impressive achievements: the app had served over 90,000 users, generated more than EGP 95 million in revenue, and established partnerships with over 250 automotive companies across the Egyptian market within just two years.
However, the pitch sparked a vigorous debate among the Sharks.
Bishoy Azmy and Ayman Mamdouh questioned the company’s valuation and scalability, emphasizing that while Helpoo showed great potential, its nationwide expansion would require strategic growth and consistent operational effort.
Mohamed Farouk and Abdullah Sallam highlighted the importance of strengthening marketing efforts and maintaining partnerships to ensure long-term sustainability.
🔹 Ahmed Tarek’s Offer Turns the Tables
Despite the initial criticism, Ahmed Tarek managed to shift the conversation by presenting a revised proposal — EGP 12 million for 25% equity and EGP 28 million in shareholder loans — which reignited the Sharks’ interest and prompted further negotiation.
After an in-depth discussion, both parties reached a final deal: EGP 15 million for 25% equity, alongside EGP 25 million in shareholder loans, a proposal that the Helpoo team ultimately accepted.
🔹 A Vision for the Future
By the end of the episode, the Sharks collectively acknowledged that Helpoo embodies a true example of Egyptian entrepreneurship, combining innovation with real-world service impact.
The company’s strategic approach and technological edge make it one of Egypt’s most promising startups in the smart mobility and automotive services sector.
With plans to expand to new cities such as Alexandria and the Suez Canal region, Helpoo is setting a new standard for roadside assistance and digital automotive solutions in Egypt
