Inspiring Celebration for People of Determination in Assiut on the International Day – Culture That Empowers
The General Authority for Cultural Palaces organized a special celebration at Al-Wehda Al-Arabia Inclusive School in Assiut, marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, with creative performances presented by talented children
As part of the Ministry of Culture’s celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, led by Major General Khaled Al-Laban, organized an impactful cultural event held by Ahmed Bahaa El-Din Culture Palace for Children at Al-Wehda Al-Arabia Primary School for Inclusion in Assiut, where positive energy and community support filled the atmosphere 🤝✨.
The event was attended by several cultural and academic figures, including:

⭐ Dr. Rehab Ahmed Zaki – Advisor to the President of Assiut University for People of Determination

🌟 The celebration began with the national anthem, followed by a speech emphasizing the cultural sector’s responsibility in supporting children of determination and integrating them into artistic and educational activities.
The event’s program included:
🎵 Operetta “We Are One”
🤟 A sign-language performance
🎬 A documentary showcasing the children’s talents
👀 A tour inside the resource room to explore the support services offered
Artist Ibrahim Hussein presented a visual arts workshop, teaching children the basics of drawing and coloring in a simplified, age-friendly manner 🎨💛.
The Children’s Folk Art Troupe also delivered captivating performances under the leadership of Khaled Nasr El-Din, including:

This celebration—organized within the cultural region’s program—reaffirmed the importance of empowering children of determination, highlighting their creativity and emphasizing their essential role in cultural and artistic life 🌈.
