The National Children’s Theatre continues its vibrant performance “La’b wa La’b” 🎭 on the second day of Eid, offering a creative stage experience that revives Egyptian folk heritage for young audiences.
Directed and supervised by artist Enas Nour 💛, the play emphasizes that folk heritage is not just tales of the past but a living memory reflecting Egypt’s cultural identity.
The performance showcases songs and traditional games that have delighted generations of children, creating joy and human connection while instilling cultural values 🌟.
The production presents this heritage in a contemporary theatrical format, preserving its authenticity while giving it a renewed life, allowing children to experience beauty, learning, and fun simultaneously 🎶✨.
The cast includes Jehan Qomry, Laila Ezz El-Arab, Ahmed Sadeq, Mounir Makram, Ayman Ismail, Shaimaa Hassan, Kamal Rabie, Yasmine El-Mougy, Rahouma Mohamed, Islam Maki, Malik Hamdy, and Ashraf Azab, under the direction and script of Dr. Hossam Ata.
The play features music composed by Salah Mostafa, lyrics by Ahmed Zidan, set design by Nasser Abdel Hafiz, costumes by Gamalat Abdo, choreography by Karima Badir, puppet design by Gamal El-Mougy, and a skilled directing team including Ahmed Fisho, Ibrahim El-Zuhairy, Mohamed Khairy, Hassan El-Roussy, and Mahmoud Youssef 🌈🎭.
