Following the release of her new single “Salemoli” on YouTube, Lebanese-Tunisian star Latifa sparked major attention after revealing key details about the song and an upcoming ambitious musical project 🎶✨.

During a phone interview on the program “El Youm Hena Cairo,” Latifa explained that “Salemoli” was originally part of her previous album but was postponed due to production circumstances and external events. She emphasized that its release now felt artistically appropriate and timely.

Latifa added that she chose the song after listening to it through composer Mohamady, even though she had not met the lyricist Ebtisam Youssef. She stressed that her selection process is driven by emotion and artistic impact rather than names or reputations 💫.

In a major revelation, Latifa announced a unique upcoming project: a full album consisting of seven songs composed by the late legendary musician Ziad Rahbani 🎼🔥.

She revealed that the project had been developed over several years before Rahbani’s passing and was fully recorded in France, making it one of the rare collaborations completed during his lifetime.

The album is particularly significant as it features Rahbani’s first compositions for Egyptian lyrics, written by the late poet Abdel Wahab Mohamed, adding a rare cultural fusion to the Arab music scene 🎤🌍.
