A lawyer filed an official complaint to the Public Prosecutor against the makers of the new film inspired by the "Saffah Al-Tagmaa" story, demanding its ban, accusing the filmmakers of violating the sanctity of the dead and undermining societal values.
He explained that an urgent lawsuit was submitted to the Administrative Court at the State Council to prevent the film’s release, noting that it contains scenes that may offend families and contradict public morals.
The film’s shooting began earlier, featuring key scenes with actress Cintia Khalifa alongside actor El Fishawy inside a residential apartment in Dokki, Giza. This marks Cintia Khalifa’s first major cinematic role in Egypt. The film is written and directed by Mohamed Salah El Azab, and produced by Ahmed El Sobky.
