Retired actress Rahma Ahmed posted a heartfelt message on Facebook, thanking everyone who supported her after she announced her decision to step away from the entertainment industry. She expressed gratitude for the positive words, encouragement, and moral support she received, especially from fans and colleagues who privately messaged her.

Rahma also revealed that many people are afraid to speak openly due to the fear of losing their livelihood. She said:

“Sustenance belongs to God, not to anyone else.” 🌟

She emphasized that some prominent artists are aware of what is happening in the industry and are not satisfied with the “corruption” where art is treated as a mere “business opportunity” rather than a profession.

Rahma clarified that her decision is not linked to wearing the hijab or turning religious, stating:

“I did not say I wore the hijab… Not wearing it doesn’t mean I don’t know God.”

Her message was clear from the start: “Enough acting.” She stressed that this does not mean she rejects art or diminishes its value.

She also spoke about the “high price” some artists are asked to pay to continue their careers or secure bigger roles—through favors, compromises, or abuses. However, she noted that this does not apply to everyone, as the industry contains both good and bad elements.
