Actor Mahmoud Higazy has addressed the recent crisis he has been going through by sharing a new post on his official social media accounts, offering insight into the circumstances that led him to speak out.

Higazy opened his message by quoting a verse from the Holy Quran, from Surat Yusuf:
“So when he saw that his shirt was torn from the back, he said, ‘Indeed, it is of your women’s plotting. Indeed, your plotting is great.’”

He explained that his silence over the past period stemmed from respect for his personal life and a desire to protect the privacy and emotional well-being of his son, Youssef.

Higazy stated that he decided to clarify the situation only after matters reached a dead end, accusing the other party of attempting to use legal procedures as a means of pressure in order to force him to relinquish the decision preventing his child from traveling.

He stressed that, in his view, the ultimate goal of these actions is to take the child abroad, reaffirming his commitment to defending his legal rights and prioritizing his son’s best interests above all else.
