The Saudi General Entertainment Authority Chairman, Turki Al Alshikh, shared with his followers on social media photos documenting director Marwan Hamed’s visit to Al Hosn Big Time Studios, one of the largest and most technologically advanced entertainment facilities in Saudi Arabia.
This visit is part of the initial preparations for the production of the third installment of the “Blue Elephant” film series, starring the renowned actor Karim Abdel Aziz. The project is considered one of the most anticipated Egyptian and Arab cinematic ventures in the near future. The producers aim to deliver a unique experience blending psychological thriller elements with visual spectacle, employing advanced filming techniques and special effects.
During the preparation sessions held at the studios, several details regarding filming, set designs, and locations were discussed, reflecting the creators’ ambition to exceed audience expectations with the third installment and build upon the great success of the first two films.
The original “Blue Elephant” and “Blue Elephant 2” films topped the Egyptian and Arab box office charts and achieved record revenues upon release. They were also widely praised by critics, making them landmarks in modern Egyptian cinema and fueling eager anticipation for the new sequel.
The upcoming installment is expected to feature several new actors while maintaining the series’ overall spirit, characterized by mystery and suspense since its inception.
